"The bought paint doesn't represent what I'm doing. I'll never go back to a man-made material again."Wanda hearkens back to when artists expressed themselves on the walls of caverns. "They took materials from the earth and made those paintings." The same materials Wanda uses today. She selects rocks that contain the colours of her subjects, grinding them to dust and mixing them with water, fish oil and grease to create paint. She applies her paint with the most basic artist's tools - her fingers. She has one brush, hand-made from her own hair, the only painting tool she uses.
